Always committed to the success of Objectives: CRPF








Jammu, Sep 26:  Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) carried out cleanliness and hygiene program at adjoining village Bajalta under 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' drive underway all over the country. The program was organized by 166 Bn CRPF. Shri P.C. Gupta, Commandant and other personnel of CRPF and local public of Bajalta village were also participated in the program with full vigor and enthusiasm. During the event, Shri P.C. Gupta, Commandant 166 Bn. CRPF impressed upon the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in our lives and described 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' as a pious drive for the development of society.  He also

stated that cleanliness leaves positive impact on the socio-economic condition of the society and appealed the people to inculcate the habit of keeping their surroundings clean always. He further stressed that the cleanliness plays a vital role in the mental and psychological development in human kind. He also shared to avoid single use of plastic it pollute environment and sustain for decades which ultimately decrease the fertility of soil as well as stress upon to use of bio-degradable material for day to day life. Besides, others who participated in the program were Dr. Amit Kumar, CMO (OG), Shri Jagjeet Singh, Dy. Comdt., Shri Shivnandan Singh, Dy. Comdt., Shri Sanjeev Kr. Sharma, Asstt. Comdt. & other personnel of unit, Shri Rahmat Ali, Sarpanch Bajalta Village, Shri Mohan Lal, Shri Jagdish Raj and Shri Subhash Sumbria of Bajalta village were also present. Shri Rahmat Ali, Sarpanch Bajalta Village and Shri Subhash Sumbria praised the officers and personnel of CRPF for their endeavors in organizing the program in Bajalta village and also appreciated their dedication towards the 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' drive. He also thanked                  Shri P.C. Gupta, Commandant 166 Bn. CRPF for his participation in the program and insisted that his presence at the event would encourage the public to pursue the cleanliness drive ahead. Shri P.C. Gupta, Commandant, too thanked to locals to take active part in the event and made 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' drive successful.

'Swachhta Hi Sewa' drive is also organized in GC CRPF Campus Bantalab. Officers and Jawans are taking part actively in the drive and drive will terminate on 02/10/19 with a message to people and force personnel to adopt 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' in their daily life on occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 02/10/19. The drive is being supervised by Shri S.P.Singh, DIG, CRPF Group Centre Bantalab. Shri Erdan Ekka, Commandant and Shri Sanjeev Kumar Singh, DC, Shri Dinesh Kumar, DC of Group Centre Bantalab also contributed to make program successful.
