as it come just a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address at UN General Assembly. Official sources told UNI that Mr Dowal arrived in the summer capital, Srinagar, on Wednesday. "The NSA met top security officials and reviewed the overall security situation in the hinterland and along the LoC," they said. They said that Mr Dowal also reviewed security of important military instillations in the valley, besides airbase in Srinagar. "Preparedness of troops to tackle any eventuality at the LoC was reviewed," they added. Mr Dowal had come to the valley immediately after the special status of J&K was scrapped last month. During his 11 day visit, the NSA visited south Kashmir and downtown Srinagar, where he met security forces. However, it was not immediately clear if the NSA will go to any part of the valley during his current visit.
